Yield to Uphill Traffic

Living off of a private, narrow, gravel road comes with some additional responsibilities: driving slowly, helping with maintenance, and following basic right-of-way rules.

One of those important rules is to yield to uphill traffic. This is especially important at a couple of points on Goose Creek Lane where the road is narrow and/or steep.  As you approach these points heading downhill, it is your responsibility to slow down and make sure no one is approaching from below. If you see a vehicle coming uphill, you must yield to them, pull over and give as much space as possible.
